The 2014 Early Interventions Conference

Lindenwood University partnered with the St. Louis and St. Charles Area First Steps (Early Intervention) Program to present the 2nd Annual Early Interventions in Autism and Sensory Impairments Conference on Nov. 14th, 2014.  The conference featured Dr. Tom Buggey from the Sisken Childrens Institute at the Univ. Of Tennessee in Chattanooga.  As the keynote speaker, Dr. Buggey presented his research on “Video-Self Modeling-Why Does It Work and How Can I Use It?”.  The conference brought together families, early intervention team members, and agency professionals together to provide networking opportunities and updates of the latest research to practice interventions.

Lindenwood University Celebrates Early Interventions through its MA in Education with an emphasis in Early Interventions in Autism & Sensory Impairments – Preparing Early Intervention Specialists to partner with parents of young children who have learning needs in the area of autism, vision impairments, and deaf/hard of hearing impairments.
